B.A Applied Arts is a four-year graduation course. Applied Arts is a degree that trains a student in the fields of industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design, advertising, decorative art, functional art, architecture, photography, etc. The Applied Arts degree course gives full exposure to print media, advertising, and electronic media.

The aspirants acquire theoretical knowledge along with practical skills. The student has to spend long hours painting, designing, and decorating to hone their skills. The entire course has been designed to provide the students with ample opportunities to participate in practical classes.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A Applied Arts

1. The candidates who completed 10+2 in any stream.

2. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in all three years combined to be eligible for admission.

3. Candidates must have done undergraduate from a college or a university which has been recognized by UGC i.e. University Grant Commission.

4. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.

Admission Process 

1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.

2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.

3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.

4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.

5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
